The Scripture theme for this week’s sermon is Luke 1:1-25 - As we begin this Advent season, we will be going through the book of Luke. The first chapter highlights the Gospel’s purpose: to provide a reliable account of Jesus’ life and mission, beginning with the preparations for the coming of the Messiah in chapter 1. The story of Zechariah and Elizabeth shows God’s faithfulness as He works through their barrenness to promise the miraculous birth of John the Baptist, the forerunner of the Messiah. In this sermon we will see how God's grace prevails even in our doubt and His plans are not hindered by our imperfections
