The Scripture theme for this week’s sermon is 1 Peter 3:18-22 - Baptism - A Response of Faith. In this passage, Peter reminds us of God's providence in our need for salvation, and Christ's work on the cross to bring us to God. In view of that work, we are to respond in faith and obedience to baptism. In this sermon, we will look a bit more closely at the meaning of baptism as a response to God's call.
