The Scripture theme for this week’s sermon is 1 Peter 2:9-12 - A Chosen People In addition to being a royal priesthood, we are also a chosen people - chosen in Christ by the grace of God. In these verses, Peter reminds us how much we are benefactors of God's mercy and the grace bestowed on us. In light of these blessings, we are called to live lives that stand out for Christ, by fitting into God's temple.
